Aaron LaSure did not learn risk management in a classroom. He learned it in the field.

Over a career spanning more than 35 years in law enforcement, military service, and federal leadership, Aaron spent more than two decades with the Federal Burau of Investigation, rising through senior leadership roles and selected to the Senior Executive Service. He served as an Inspector and Section Chief in the Inspection Division, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Counterintelligence Division Washington Field Office, Unit Chief of the Counterproliferation Initiatives Unit in the Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate, and Supervisory Special Agent across multiple field offices and FBI Headquarters. He directed counterintelligence operations covering China, Taiwan, and North Korea and served as a National Program Manager addressing asymmetrical threats from Iran and Iraq. Earlier in his career as a case agent, he investigated and supported prosecution of complex counterintelligence matters, terrorist threats, complex financial crimes, white collar crimes, and violent crimes as a Special Agent in the Louisville Field Office.

Following his FBI career, Aaron served as a Professional Staffer for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on House Administration, providing federal law enforcement expertise, assessments, and audits to the Committee Chairperson and Speaker of the House on congressional security matters and developing protection protocols for Members of Congress, staff, and visitors with the responsibility  of oversite of the U.S. House Sergeant of Arms and the U.S. Capitol Police. He also brings direct experience with the United States Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service, where he has served as a Special Investigator conducting background clearance reviews and special investigations involving sensitive information tied to U.S. embassy personnel and facilities worldwide.

Aaron began his career as a Naval Aviator in the United States Navy and as an Orlando Police Department Officer.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in European and Middle Eastern Studies from Franklin and Marshall College. He completed the Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and holds certificates from the Naval Post Graduate School in Advanced Counterproliferation Middle East and Asia Threats, Counterintelligence Management, and FBI Counterintelligence Proficiency. Aaron completed the Middlebury College Emersion Mandarin Language School Program and has an intermediate proficiency in Mandarin. He maintains an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Beyond his government and federal service, Aaron has brought that same discipline and strategic depth to engagements with professional sports franchises and a wide network of national and international litigators and foreign entities, giving him a uniquely broad perspective on the risk challenges facing both public institutions and private organizations.

Aaron is also a proud member of the 100 Black Men of Triangle East, where he has long invested in mentoring young men and strengthening the communities he serves. For Aaron, leadership has never been just a title. It is a responsibility.

Chief Operating Officer

Keisha Rutland-LaSure did not learn what it means to lead people through complexity in a seminar. She learned it by doing it, across complex federal investigations, international assignments, and high-stakes diplomatic environments where the margin for error was narrow and the stakes were real.

Over a career spanning more than two decades in senior federal leadership roles, Keisha served at the highest levels of international law enforcement operations. As U.S. Legal Attaché Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, she led complex, multi-agency counterterrorism, counterintelligence, counterproliferation, and criminal operations against transnational threats while navigating sensitive personnel, partnership, and resource challenges across multiple global jurisdictions simultaneously.  That combination of operational rigor and human-centered leadership defines everything she brings to an engagement.

Keisha directed multi-faceted intricate asymmetric investigations as a Unit Chief and Supervisory Special Agent in the FBIHQ Counterintelligence Division and Counterproliferation Center neutralizing Middle Eastern, Iranian, Americas and Non-Traditional Threat Actors from obtaining Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear materials and associated technologies. She directed global investigations and collaborated directly with the U.S. National Security Council to protect critical national defense infrastructure and outlining Tier I Threats to the nation deploying to the Americas, the Middle East and Europe. Keisha served as a Special Agent assigned to the Critical Incident Response Group at Washington Field Office and addressed international terrorist organizations.  As a Special Agent in the Philadelphia and Baltimore Field Offices, she investigated complex organized violent crimes.

Her expertise runs deep in human capital strategy, workforce development, and organizational resilience. As a Supervisory Special Agent in the Human Resources Division at the FBI, she revamped hiring eligibility processes, led suitability and accommodations decisions, developed data-driven recruitment strategies, and trained hundreds of agents in federal hiring practices, all with an unwavering focus on compliance, equity, and mission alignment. She understands better than most that an organization's greatest vulnerability and its greatest asse are often the same thing: its people.

Keisha holds a foundation in environmental engineering obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Masters of Engineering from Cornell University. She began her career as an environmental engineer at Sunoco Refinery in Philadelphia, PA. She is fluent in Spanish, and brings genuine cross-cultural fluency earned through on-the-ground international service to include Non-Government Organizations. She consistently prioritized people, purpose, and policy, not as competing priorities, but interconnected ones.

Keisha volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader mentoring and developing future female leaders. She also volunteers as Precinct Official for Wake County Board of Elections.

Chief Strategy Officer

Nirav Shah did not develop his instincts for threat assessment in a training exercise. He developed them over more than two decades of federal service, in environments where accurate analysis and decisive leadership were not optional.

Over a career spanning 22 years of exemplary performance, including 14 years in senior FBI leadership, Nirav served as a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) and Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Los Angeles Field Office, Unit Chief and SSA at FBI Headquarters. Nirav served as a Detaille to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) National Counterproliferation Center. He built and directed programs in counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and criminal investigations, leading interagency teams and coordinating with the U.S. Intelligence Community, foreign intelligence and law enforcement partners, and federal, state, and local agencies across multiple jurisdictions. As a case agent he worked complex counterintelligence, counterterrorism, counterproliferation, organized crime, drugs, and violent criminal enterprise investigations as a Special Agent in the New York, Chicago and Charlotte Field Offices. He held a Top Secret/SCI Clearance and is fluent in Gujarati and Spanish.

What distinguishes Nirav is not just the breadth of his experience but the precision of his judgement. He brings a rare combination of operational intelligence expertise and legal acuity that most risk professionals simply cannot offer. He has spent a career identifying weaknesses before they become crises, crafting strategy and tactics grounded in organizational priorities, available resources, and policy realities.  He understands how adversaries think, how institutions fail, and how leadership teams can be better prepared for both.

As Chief Strategy Officer at Sure Consultants, Nirav oversees firm operations and all legal activities, ensuring that every engagement is grounded not only in strategic intelligence methodology but in sound legal framework. Because the organizations that are truly prepared for threats are the ones that understand them from the inside out and have the legal foundation to act on what they find.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University Law School.

Chief Communications Officer

Sharon LaSure-Roy did not learn the intersection of brand, compliance, and organizational risk from a textbook. She learned it by navigating it, across regulated industries, high-stakes communications environments, and organizations where the cost of getting it wrong was measured in public trust.

Over a career spanning more than 30 years in integrated marketing communications, Sharon has served in senior leadership roles across financial services, healthcare, and the public sector.

Her work at VyStar Credit Union, State Farm Insurance, H&R Block, Florida Blue and GuideWell Health has deepened her fluency in regulated industry compliance, stakeholder communications, and marketing governance, environments where every message carries legal, regulatory, and reputational weight. She has managed agency relationships, multimillion-dollar marketing budgets, and communications strategies that had to hold up not just to public audiences but to legal and compliance review.

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hood College and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University's Medill School. She is a 2025 Ragan Zenith Award recipient for Content Marketing and a national speaker at forums including the American Marketing Association and the Association of National Advertisers.
